McMillan Spirit Assembly

McMillan students had an exciting assembly today to kick off our spring term.  Over the next month we are challenging students to show some spirit through a number of different contests.

First: Make a Fun Fair poster. Students will be given some details about our upcoming fun fair...our first in 3 springs! Several posters will be chosen as winners and all entries will be used to advertise around the school to build excitement.

Second: Guess Who; Staff Edition. We have posted pictures of McMillan Staff back when they were students, in our front hallway. Students are welcome to submit their guesses, and the students who guess the most correctly will win a small Husky prize.

Third; Name our Mascot! Today we were suprised by the arrival of the McMillan Husky! Students are invited to think of and submit names for the mascot to their classroom teacher. Over the next week or so we will narrow it down to 3 - 5 names and then vote on our favorite. 

More information about all these contests will be given to students.
