First Day Back: Sept. 7

The first day of school is just around the corner! Sept. 7 will be a half day, starting at 8:30 and dismissing at 11:00. Students will begin the year by returning to their old classrooms and teachers. We are doing this to facilitate the creation of new and balanced classrooms. Please expect your child to remain with last year's teacher until Thursday, as we create new class lists that balance and accomodate student needs to the best of our abilities.  Drop off and pick up will be at this classroom door for  Tues., and Wed., and Thurs. of the first week. On Thurs. your child will know where they should line up Friday morning.

If your child is new to McMillan, they will be placed with a classroom of their grade. You can come to the front door of the school before the bell to find out where they should line up to be greeted.

Kindergarten students will be participating in a short orientation that will begin at 10:00 in our multi purpose room. Details of our gradual entry will be shared at that time, and you will sign up for a Parent/Teacher/Student meeting.
