Earth Day at McMillan

Friday, April 22 students at McMillan celebrated Earth Day in a variety of ways. Throughout the school, students learned about ways to live gently on our planet, reused resources for arts and crafts, and created visuals of the beauty in nature. We also enjoyed the litterless lunch challenge and represented our commitment through wearing blue and green. Congratulations to Div. 16, Mrs. Piper/Mrs Ivany's class. They won a Timbit snack by producing the smalles amount of litter out of their lunch kits...one small piece!
