October Updates

Happy October!

It is hard to believe that a month of school has passed already. Students and staff are all settling into their classrooms, making new friends, and beginning to build some fabulous memories together! We have already enjoyed several school wide assemblies, to review our Husky Virtues and welcome new students and staff to our community. Our Cancer fundraiser was a big success, bringing in over $1100 for Cops for Cancer, and Terry Fox. Although our run was rained out last week, classes will be completing that run on a sunny day some time this week or next. Thank you so much for support!

October promises to be just a busy and fun filled! A few dates to be aware of:

Oct. 3 - Picture Day

Oct. 7 - 11 - Thanksgiving food drive

Oct. 8 - PAC Meeting 6:30

Oct. 9 - Hot Lunch Day

Oct. 14 - Thanksgiving Monday - no school

Oct. 23 & 24 - Early Dismissal Days (11:55) for Parent Teacher Conferences

Oct. 29 - Diwali

Oct. 31 - Halloween

Please watch for communication from your child's teacher regarding many of these events. 

Online signup for Parent Teacher Conferences will be accessible Oct. 11 - 18.  A separate link will be sent when the site is open.
